A premium replacement lead that runs your Brass Monkey fridge from any Anderson socket on your battery box, canopy, dual battery system or power station. The moulded Anderson-style plug locks in and stays put on rough roads, where a cigarette plug can wriggle loose and switch your fridge off. Heavy 14 AWG cable keeps voltage drop low, and the inline 15A fuse protects your fridge and wiring.

Why cable size matters

Many fridge leads use thin 16 AWG cable. Ours use 14 AWG twin-core cable with about 60% more copper. Thin cable loses voltage between the battery and the fridge, and when the voltage at the fridge drops too far it shuts down with a low-voltage fault such as E1 or F1. Heavier cable keeps the voltage up, so your fridge keeps running and your food stays cold.
