200W low-profile solar panel for rooftop tents
We designed this panel for rooftop tents. Most 200W panels are long and narrow, so they hang over a tent lid or crowd your roof rack. This one is a squarer 1145 x 870 mm, sized to sit neatly on a rooftop tent, and it’s only 17 mm thick.

Lower and cleaner than a standard panel
Most framed solar panels are 25 to 35 mm thick. Ours are 17 mm, with black cells, a black frame and a black backsheet, so the panel sits low and almost disappears on a black roof, rack or tent. Pair it with our low-profile brackets for the lowest-profile fixed panel setup you can get.

Mounting: brackets are optional
Brackets are not included. The frame is pre-drilled for our low-profile mounting brackets, sold separately in pairs with black pop rivets. This 200W panel needs two pairs (4 brackets). Or choose the panel kit and add the brackets in one order.
The brackets are laser-cut, folded aluminium in black and pop-rivet straight onto the panel. Fit them one of two ways:
- ✓Flush between roof rails: fit the brackets lip-down, bolt the slotted base to each rail, and the panel sits level between them, like on the rooftop tent in our photos.
- ✓On a roof rack platform: flip the brackets so the slotted base sits flat, then bolt down on a Rhino-Rack, Front Runner or similar platform. The panel sits almost as low as its own 17 mm frame, much lower than with standard Z-brackets.
