Low-profile solar panel mounting brackets
The lowest, cleanest way to mount a solar panel. We designed these brackets for our 17 mm low-profile panels, which come pre-drilled to suit, so the brackets pop-rivet straight onto the frame. They’re laser-cut, folded aluminium in black and come as a pair with black pop rivets, so the finished install looks factory-made.

How many pairs do I need?
- ✓200W 1145 x 870 mm panel: 2 pairs (4 brackets)
- ✓200W 1480 x 680 mm panel: 2 pairs (4 brackets)
- ✓130W 1000 x 670 mm panel: 1 pair (2 brackets)
Two ways to mount
- ✓Flush between roof rails: fit the brackets lip-down, bolt the slotted base to each rail, and the panel sits level between them, like on the rooftop tent in our photos.
- ✓On a roof rack platform: flip the brackets so the slotted base sits flat, then bolt down on a Rhino-Rack, Front Runner or similar platform. The panel sits almost as low as its own 17 mm frame, much lower than with standard Z-brackets.

These brackets suit our pre-drilled 17 mm low-profile panels. Fitting them to another panel means drilling its frame for the rivets. Panels are sold separately.
