Hema navigation, made for two wheels
The HX-M1 is purpose-built for motorcycles and side-by-sides. It pairs rugged, weatherproof hardware with Hema Nav Premium, live traffic and quarterly map updates, for weekend rides, multi-day tours and remote outback adventures.
Hema Maps has been mapping Australia since 1983, with roads and tracks field checked by the Hema Map Patrol. The HX-M1 brings that mapping to your handlebars.

Preloaded Australian road and off-road mapping lets you plan, customise and follow routes. You get turn-by-turn voice guidance on the road, track guidance off it, and offline maps for when there is no signal.

The sunlight-readable IPS touch screen is water resistant and works in the rain. A separate GPS antenna gives accurate positioning, and the mount is built to withstand vibration and shock. Hema states the smart monitor mount suits 22, 25, 28 and 32 mm handlebar diameters.

Frequently asked questions
Does it work without phone reception?
Yes. The maps are preloaded and work offline. Wi-Fi is used for map and software updates, and live traffic needs a connection.
Will it fit my handlebars?
Hema states the mount suits 22, 25, 28 and 32 mm handlebar diameters, with a 3 m cable to suit most motorcycles and SxS. Not sure? contact our team.
Does it record video?
Not on its own. The optional HX-M1 Dual Camera DVR Kit adds Full HD front and rear cameras, and the 3D G-sensor then saves footage if an incident is detected.
Is there a subscription?
Hema Nav Premium, live traffic and quarterly updates are included, with Hema Nav map updates for 3 years. Hema's 4WD Maps digital print map library needs a separate subscription.
What warranty does it have?
Hema covers the HX-M1 with a 3-year limited warranty (Hema Protect).
