Keep your awning steady in the wind
Two adjustable awning tie down safety straps that keep your awning stable and secure in windy conditions. They fit most caravan awnings.
Attach each strap with the stitched 5mm or 7mm spline in a sail track, or wrap the D-ring around the awning barrel. Powder coated steel springs absorb movement and a metal cam buckle adjusts the length. Reflective patches make them easy to spot at night. Add a set of Large Alloy Screw-In Pegs to anchor them firmly.

Two ways to fit most awnings
Slide the stitched 5mm or 7mm spline into the sail track on your caravan awning, or wrap the D-ring around the awning barrel. One of the two methods suits most caravan awnings, so check your track size or barrel before you head off.

A spring that takes the shock
The powder-coated steel spring hooks onto your peg and gives a little when the wind gusts, absorbing movement instead of pulling rigid. Stainless steel eyelets also let you use the straps with tent poles.

Set the tension with the cam buckle
Each strap is 270cm long in heavy duty 38mm webbing, and the metal cam buckle lets you take up slack or let it out in seconds. Two large reflective patches show up in low light, so there's less chance of tripping over them at night.

No. Anchor the spring to a strong peg such as the 300mm glow-in-the-dark screw-in peg.
How strong are they?
The kit has a 50kg load rating, and each strap weighs 0.3kg.
Will it protect my awning in a storm?
It adds tension and helps reduce awning movement, but Supex takes no responsibility for awning damage from wind or storm exposure. Roll the awning in when bad weather is coming.
