Overview
See the world from down under
Most world maps put the northern hemisphere on top, a habit handed down from early European mapmakers. Hema's Upside Down World map flips that around and shows the world from a southern hemisphere point of view, with Australia no longer 'down under'.
After all, as the cover says, there is no ancient geographical feature saying 'This way up'. Designed and printed in Australia by Hema Maps.
What's on the map

Each country is shown in bold colour, with the Pacific in the middle and Antarctica across the top. An index makes it easy to look up places. At 840 x 594 mm it is a good size for a wall, a study or a classroom.
