In-car, handheld and antenna in one pack
The XTRAK 80 Pro in-vehicle UHF CB, an XTRAK 50 Pro waterproof handheld and an ATX970S heavy duty antenna. Both radios share location through the XTRAK Pro App.
The XTRAK 80 Pro goes in the vehicle with a 3.0 dBi ATX970S antenna, and the XTRAK 50 Pro goes with you when you leave the car. Both have 80 channels, 5W, an OLED display and Instant Replay, and the handheld's charging cradle runs off the car or the mains. Add an ACCX50 car kit to charge and mount the handheld in the car.

The XTRAK 50 Pro is a 5W waterproof handheld with its own OLED display, 2W speaker and up to 4 minutes of Instant Replay. Use it at camp, on a walk or while spotting a driver over a rocky climb. It has a torch, an SOS function and a 2700mAh battery that charges in its cradle at home or in the car.

Location sharing
Both radios know where each other are
Pair each radio with the free XTRAK Pro App and they share positions with each other, even without mobile phone service, as long as they're within UHF CB range. The app also handles settings, Selcall contacts, Repeater Find and short text messages, and each radio can stream audio to compatible Bluetooth devices.

Antenna included
ATX970S heavy duty antenna
The ATX970S is a 3.0 dBi ground independent radome antenna, made for all-round use on flat terrain, in town and in the country. It has an aluminium ferrule and a heavy duty stainless steel spring, and stands 702mm tall once mounted. It comes with 4.5m of low loss coax, an FME connector with PL259 adaptor, a locking key and a weather cap.

Frequently asked questions
Can the two radios share location?
Yes. Both the XTRAK 80 Pro and the XTRAK 50 Pro work with the XTRAK Pro App. With each radio paired to a smartphone, they share location while they're within UHF CB range of each other, even without mobile phone service.
Is the handheld waterproof?
The XTRAK 50 Pro radio meets IPX7/JIS7, which means no water gets in when it's under 1m of water for 30 minutes with all fittings secured. The speaker mic and other accessories aren't waterproof.
Do I need a ground plane for the antenna?
No. The ATX970S is ground independent, so it works on a bull bar or bracket mount without a metal ground plane. It comes with 4.5m of coax already fitted with an FME connector and PL259 adaptor.
Do I need a licence to use it?
UHF CB in Australia is covered by the ACMA Citizen Band Radio Stations Class Licence, and you must follow the conditions in that licence. Uniden notes the radio must only be used in the country of purchase.
Can I talk on all 80 channels?
Most of them. Channels 22 and 23 are for data only, so voice transmission is blocked, and channels 61, 62 and 63 are reserved for future use and are receive only. Channels 5 and 35 are emergency channels.
