This heavy-duty reversing camera pairs with the Hema HX-2 Navigator and sends a live rear view over Wi-Fi straight to the HX-2 screen when you back up. The wide lens helps you pick up vehicles, people, pets and other obstacles behind your 4WD, caravan or trailer.

Which navigator does it work with?

Hema lists it for the Hema HX-2 Navigator, controlled through the HX-2 Camera App. Hema also lists the Visada app for compatible iPhone and iPad devices; it is not currently available for Android.

Will it work on a caravan or trailer?

Yes. Hema describes it as suitable for vehicles, caravans and trailers, with a range of up to 70 m depending on installation.

Is it completely wireless?

The video is wireless, but the camera needs power. The first install must be wired by a qualified auto electrician, then it operates over Wi-Fi.

How is it different from the standard Hema Wi-Fi camera?

The heavy-duty camera has a wider 150° view and up to 70 m range, compared with 140° and 30 m on the standard camera.
